Thank you all for your support and to those who helped at today’s Palolo Clean up day for which Pearl Church did graffiti painting (coverup) at three bridges, the Palolo Gym and several structures at Palolo Park including a storage bin and the scorekeeper’s shack at the baseball diamond. Total of 10 kids and 3 adults participated from Pearl. Good job! Also thank you to Uncle Carl who came out to do the roof coating and Annabella and David for hinokishin at Pearl Church! Awesome!


Taeko doing salvation work with Ms. Hoang Bin, 78, who’s foot infection was healed through Sazuke and the blessed water from Jiba.


We temporarily moved the symbols of worship to the former pastor Rev. Yoshinobu and Tomiko Nakao’s home in Hawaii Kai where we are continuing to conduct the morning and evening services.


Pearl Church’s first tent fumigation…


Uncle Carl applying first of two coats of Hawaiian Sungard roof coating with its “Ceramic Titanium Heatshield” designed to save us money on regular roof repair and reduce the amount of heat generated by a conventional roof.

And you know what this means, right? This means "cooler" church services! Church van in the background…

Hinokishin Help

Calling on everyone for hinokishin help!

Taeko’s still cleaning and putting away the dishes and stuff and I’ve started on the roof.

Tomorrow is the Palolo Community cleanup day. Pearl Church is assigned to do graffiti painting. Meet at pearl Church at 8am or go direct to Palolo Rec Center by 8:30am.

If the roof work is not done by today, we will continue tomorrow afternoon after the Palolo cleanup. Taeko could use some help in the kitchen. Also, on Sunday afternoon at about 2pm, we will reinstall the back canopy garage.

At this time I would like to thank our upper church head minister Rev. Motohiro Nakao for his support and assistance in receiving the divine sanction for the church tent fumigation and also to Yoshinobu and Carl Nakao for accompanying me during the divine sanction ohakobi ceremony at church headquarters. It was a truly moving and inspiring experience to receive the sanction personally from the Everliving Oyasama through the Shinbashira himself!

Rev. Motohiro Nakao, will arrive on November 8 to attend the various services here associated with the church tent fumigation starting with the reinstallation ceremony on Friday, 11/9 at 6pm, the dedication service on Saturday, 11/10 at 9am, and our monthly service on Sunday, 11/12 at 10am. See attached 2007 End of Year Schedule.

Please make every effort to attend as he does not come to Pearl Church very often! And take the opportunity to meet and thank him for his support and show our respect as he is the head of our parent church and our “spiritual parent.” It is through our spiritual “up line” that our blessings flow from Jiba.

Also if you can, please help us on 11/1-2 (Thu-Fri) with Pearl Church roof coating and 11/3 (Sat) Palolo Community graffiti cover painting. See schedule.
