We are all on the same boat, called the planet earth. If we let the people on one part of the boat sink and drown, we will all go down together. Furthermore, as we all have our roots in the same Creator, we are all one family… Let us all take this time of disasters in the Philippines, Samoa and Indonesia to ponder our situations and resolve to extend that helping hand to others in the “same boat”.
We'll be passing out the UNICEF collection boxes during this month's October Grand Service, in participation of this years collection drive which will directly impact the people in the disaster stricken areas. Please join us as we pray and extend that “helping hand.”
