Each Seed Has A Promise Of A Thousand Forests ~ Giving & Receiving Gratefully

“In every seed is the promise of a thousand forests. The seed must not be hoarded; it must give its intelligence to the fertile ground. Through its giving, its unseen energy flows into material manifestation….. Keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.” – Deepak Chopra, from The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, A Practical Guide To The Fulfillment Of Your Dreams, based On Creating Affluence

Just what is ‘Affluence’?

It is by dictionary term, abundance of money, property, and other material goods; riches; wealth. An abundant supply, as of thoughts or words; profusion. A flowing to or toward; afflux.

How do we ‘Create Affluence’?

One of the Spiritual Laws of Success is The Law of Giving. In this, Deepak Chopra, explains that, ‘The universe operates through dynamic exchange… giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe… our willingness to give that which we seek, and we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.”

What if we stop circulating the energy (elements and forces) that interacts in harmony in our lives?

If we stop giving and receiving, what you want (wealth/affluence) in life begins to slow down, like the life giving blood that flows thru our bodies that brings nutrients to all our cells and organs we need to maintain or it will stagnate. Giving and receiving keeps the force in our lives flowing. What you want, wants you too. We must be the change we want to see. We cannot have the simple abundance in life if we do not have the courage to accept change within ourselves, with others, and in the world in which we live. We must give and receive our unseen energy, and see it thru until it’s manifestation, to the fulfillment of each seeds promise.

Do not worry about things not worth giving or receiving, as things that have no worth to it cannot multiply. It lacks the energy force to keep what is needed flowing thru life. Thus, it is what is behind our intention to give that is important. It has to be positive and given unconditionally from the heart. In this, what we reap is in direct proportion to what we gave, the joy we get to experience, the peace of mind we get to enjoy thru the simple act of giving. Yet, we cannot give what we do not have, what we have not learned how to give and receive.

For instance, if we want love, learn to give love. If we want to live a joyous life, learn how to find joy and give joy. I interpret that this is what Mr. Deepak Chopra continues to work towards in the cause for world peace. One mind at a time, and his generous efforts to connect different peaceful like-minded groups of people to one another. What a powerful movement of giving and receiving is taking place. If you have or are involved in a like-minded group/cause and want to connect with other like-minded groups, you can tweet Deepak Chopra, and he will make the effort to connect you to others.

When I get up each day, I am happy. I am happy because I know where to find joy in my life; ‘Joy’ which can only be found in the present moment. No one taught me how to live a joyful life, nor how to find joy. Until I did, I was miserable, afraid, in great physical pain, exhausted, and depressed with my life. The pain of this was so unbearable I felt broken and I welcomed the thought should death come to my doorstep. Yet, somehow I found enough strength to keep reaching out, to keep hope no matter how thin that line of hope was. I reached out to doctors, to family, and close friends. I reached out to ‘God’. I could at least pray. I would literally cry myself to exhaustion and sleep as I continued to ask for some type of divine intervention, until my hope was about all drained from me.

Then as I was leaving to get to yet another doctor appointment, a young man came to my porch. He asked if I knew of anyone who needed healing. In my rush to leave I answered, ‘Yes, me. But I have to leave to a doctor appointment now and will be back around noon time.’ He replied, he will come back at that time. By the time I came back home, I had all but forgotten about this young man, and when I drove up the drive-way, there he was waiting. I said, ‘Oh my gosh, you came back?”.

This young man had a humble aura about him and was very soft spoken. We sat on the porch and spoke with each other for hours. Though he spoke little English and I did not speak his language we were still able to understand each other well. In the end, he offered to pray for healing for me. As he prayed aloud he reached out towards me, yet did not touch me. I could feel a prickly tingling type of energy that was very warm from the palms of his hands. He asked for nothing in return and politely left.

This was the day that marked a turning point in my life. This was the day that I realized, I had never learned ‘how-to’ find joy in my life. This was the day that the answer to prayers came to my door step. It was not death. It was a humble young man whom by no coincidence came directly into my life, he was used as a mere tool to give me a simple message, ‘How to find joy and live a joyous life.’ Of course this did not happen like magic, it did take time. I had to take practice in a basic yet powerful laws of life. I am ever so grateful for the simple abundance this practice has brought into my life. I give thanks everyday, every step of the way, and at every end of the day.

Sure, I still experience the down-sides that life brings. What is different is how well I handle them that counts, the difference in how fast I am able to bounce back from them, and how what I do about them has become like second nature, and I can still find something to take joy in life.

Yes, I still keep in touch with the young man that came to my porch that day. He has since moved back home to live in his country and to be of service their. Since, he has also found someone special and has married her. Many blessings to him and his bride.

UPDATE! They had a baby! Sooo COOL

It’s now time to practice some gratitude in my day, meditate and pray to sweep away all ills, give to mother earth in the garden, to my higher power (God), to my ancestors whom came gave and received before me, and to my community unconditionally.

In loving-kindness, and with much joy, many blessings to you and to my circle of friends here Thank you.
